A UPS is typically used to protect hardware such as computers, data centers, telecommunication equipment or other electrical equipment where an unexpected power disruption could cause injuries, fatalities, serious business disruption or data loss. The three general categories of modern UPS systems are on-line, line-interactive and standby. An on-line UPS uses a "double conversion" method of accepting AC input, rectifying to DC for passing through the rechargeable battery (or battery strings), then inverting back to 120 V/230 V AC for powering the protected equipment. A line-interactive UPS maintains the inverter in line and redirects the battery's DC current path from the normal charging mode to supplying current when power is lost. In a standby ("off-line") system the load is powered directly by the input power and the backup power circuitry is only invoked when the utility power fails.
Comguard manufactures Home UPS for providing uninterrupted power supply to a variety of appliances including computers, refrigerators, etc. Comguard Home UPS leverage the advanced technology that ensures 100% safety of equipment, while booting the performance and functional life of batteries. Comguard Batteries designed for Home UPS and Inverter applications ensure availability of un-interrupted and regulated power during mains failure in input voltage. Home ups are devices that convert the direct current (DC) of powerful on-board inverter batteries to alternating current (AC) for running fans, lights and other electrical appliances and also charge the battery when there is power availability simultaneously. Comguard has introduced a number of highly efficient home ups models that have changed the way power back up equipment were looked at in India.
- Long and Frequent Power Outages
- Short Recharge Time
- High Temperatures.
- Irregular Maintenance.
- Reliability Over Months.
- Low Maintenance
Comgurd supplies high performance, low maintenance tubular batteries ideal for use with UPS and Inverters. These batteries are a reliable and economical option for all types of inverters that are used for a variety of domestic and office applications. They are specially designed to support long and frequent power cuts. All tubular batteries behave similarly to start with, but obviously, not all tubular batteries are the same. With the help of Tubular technology , Comguard tubular batteries use the high pressure while most other manufacturers use gravity of low pressure casting processes.
